Neither team led by more than eight as Monmouth fell to Ripon 78-76. Trailing by eight with 43 seconds left in the game, Kenny Foster hit a pair of free throws followed by a Kendall Cox 3-pointer on the next possession to turn the heat up on the Red Hawks. Brent Burrows steal of a Ripon inbounds pass gave Foster an old-fashioned three on a layup and ensuing free throw to pull the Scots to within 75-74. After Ripon hit a free throw for a two-point margin, Foster hit his game-high 37^th point to forge a 76-76 tie. Ripon picked up the win with a bucket with three seconds left and then after timeout, forced a turnover with a second left in the game.
