SCOTS’ WOMEN RANKED IN NATION’S TOP TEN
MONMOUTH, Ill. – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has ranked the Monmouth College women’s track team as one of the nation’s elite. The USTFCCCA released their preseason rankings this week and place the Scots seventh nationally. Monmouth’s women return national qualifiers in five events including two-time All-American thrower Allison Devor. Monmouth was ranked 10th at the end of the last indoor season, but picked up 70.16 ranking points to move up three spots in the first poll for 2012. This marks the first year the USTFCCCA preseason rankings were compiled for Division III. The next round of rankings will be released Jan. 25. |
