A new coach takes the reigns of the West Central Heat football program.  Roger Kerfoot was previously the head coach at Villa Grove and Camp Pt. Central/Southeastern.  He inherits a Heat program that has gone just 2-25 over the last three seasons.  Despite that record, Kerfoot says a litle excitement could be generated with a new coach, and that he was pleased with the summer participation levels.  Dylan Bell will return at quarterback, and Toby Krow and Tyler Anderson should see a bulk of the workload out of the backfield.  West Central opens up the 2010 season on Friday August 27th at West Prairie.  Practices begin next Wednesday, August 11th.  To hear a full length interview with new head coach Roger Kerfoot, click below.
