The United Red Storm football team made a run to the Class 1A state quarterfinals.  The Red Storm lost 19 seniors to graduation, but head coach Tim Engebretson says the biggest question mark this year, will be on defense. On offense, Christian Schrader will take over the starting quarterback role, and junior Geoffrey Hahn returns at fullback, and rushed for 779 yards last season.  Nick Hull also saw time in the backfield, rushing for 250 yards.  The Red Storm open the season on the road at Stark County on Friday August 27th.  That game will be the Sunny 97.7 WMOI Game of the Week.  John Ring will call the play-by-play for United football this fall.  Click below to hear a full length season preview with coach Tim Engebretson.
