(Avon, IL)  –  The Committee of 10 held a community meeting in regard to the possible consolidation of the Avon, Bushnell-Prairie City and Abingdon School districts was held over the weekend in Avon.  The meeting was held Sunday afternoon and allowed residence to hear more about the possibility of what could happen if the districts were to consolidate.  Each community will keep their elementary schools, high school students would attend classes in Bushnell, while middle school students would attend class in Abingdon.  Voters will make their decision during the primary that will take place on March 20th.
