(Galesburg, IL)  –  A Soil Fertility Webinar is set to take place in Knox County this week.  Those attending can learn the basics of soil fertility.  What nutrients are needed, what role they serve, which present potential environmental problems and which tend to become deficient.  You also learn if you can conduct a soil test on your own. What organic amendments tend to be the best source of essential nutrients?  Those are a few of the topics that will be covered during the webinar.  It will take place on February 9th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the University of Illinois Extension Office in Knox County located at 180 South Soangetaha Road in Galesburg.
