14-year-old killed in accident |

A 14-year-old girl from Macomb was killed and the driver of the car is in serious condition after an accident south of Bushnell around 6:40 Friday night. The Illinois State Police report 17-year-old Kasarah Riden of Bushnell was driving north on McDonough County 2000 East when she lost control on the snow on the roadway. Her vehicle bcame airborne and struck a grain bin before landing on it's roof. Riden and her passenger 14-year-old Remington Neeley of Macomb were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extracted by Bushnell Fire personnel. Riden sustained major injuries and was taken to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Police say Riden was wearing her seatbelt, but Neeley wasn’t
