The Warren Co. RSVP volunteer program, in partnership with the Monmouth-Roseville School District, local schools, teachers and after-school programs, is continuing to fill the need for tutors to help children with their learning. 

RSVP is seeking volunteers of all ages to tutor children and help them reach their potential.  At the direction of the teachers, tutors may work one-on-one or in small groups to help children develop skills primarily in reading, but also in other core areas identified by teachers and schools.  RSVP will work with your schedule and your preferences (grade level or school) to match the specific volunteer needs of the schools. 

Training will be provided and will cover basic tutoring principles, specific practices in the Monmouth-Roseville school district, multi-cultural awareness and ELL (English Language Learner) strategies.  A training session is scheduled for Thursday January 26th from 9am until 12pm at the 1st Street Armoury.
