Three Galesburg residents arrested on drug charges

Three  Galesburg residents face felony drug charges after being caught in possession of anhydrous ammonia. On Friday (Sept 3rd) evening about midnight, a Warren County Deputy initiated a traffic stop on the Knox/Warren County line west of Galesburg. The vehicle stopped, then fled as the Deputy approached the vehicle on foot.  During a short pursuit, a container of suspected anhydrous was thrown from the vehicle. The vehicle stopped inside Knox  County. Arrested were 36-year-old Phillip Kilgore, 36-year-old Jeffrey Joseph and  24-year-old Torrie Hillier all of Galesburg. All three were booked at the Warren County Jail on felony charges of tampering with anhydrous ammonia and possession of anhydrous ammonia. Hillier was also charged with fleeing and eluding. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and the Galesburg Police Department.
