(Pekin, IL) -- Formal charges have been filed against a homeless man accused of beating another homeless man to death last week in Pekin. Thirty-year-old Jonathan Tandy faces four counts of first-degree murder in connection to the death of 55-year-old Michael Marshall. Tandy reportedly told police he punched Marshall in the face during an argument, and then left the scene. Marshall was found dead under the McNaughton Bridge in Pekin last Thursday night. Tandy is jailed in Tazewell County. He is due back in court later this month.
